Agricultural Exterior Wall Finish Example

More than 100%

You create a valuation for a building that has two to three feet of exposed foundation where the exterior wall finish is carried down over the foundation.

Example 1:  The building itself is 100% brick on masonry.  To account for the additional cost of having the brick over the masonry foundation wall, you add an additional 10% to the brick on masonry exterior wall finish for a total of 110%.

Example 2:  The building itself is 100% brick on frame.  To account for the additional cost of having the brick over the masonry foundation wall, you add 10% to the brick on masonry exterior wall finish field for a total of 110%.

Less than 100%

Most of the buildings that have less than 100% exterior wall materials are accounted for in Commercial Express. These occupancies include 108 - Loafing Shed, Open One Side;117 - Milkhouse Shed, Open One Side; 120 - Hay Storage, Open One Side; and 122 - Hay Storage, Open Four Sides. However, you can enter a total percentage of less than 100% for other buildings if necessary.
